Lexan Nameplates
Lexan is one of the most popular materials for nameplates. The wide range of finishes (Velvet, Gloss, 90%,75%,55%,35% and 20% gloss) and the wide range of thicknesses (.005-.030) make Lexan the most obvious choice for many nameplate applications. Many companies will produce their bezels with a recessed area for the nameplate. By choosing a lexan with the appropriate thickness and finish the nameplate appears to be molded into the product. Success is achieved when the nameplate does not look like a nameplate. Another benefit to the lexan is combining it with the 3M laminating adhesives making it possible to adhere a nameplate to metal, high surface energy or even low surface energy plastics. No matter your surface 3M has the adhesive to do the job.
Domed Nameplates
Looking for that special nameplate for your product? A nameplate that has depth. One that looks very expensive but is not. A nameplate that is durable both inside and out. These are just a few of the reason Domed nameplates are so popular. The appearance can be spectacular but the cost is low and there is no special tooling charges. Many companies used Domed nameplates for their top of the line products. Want your product to stand out from the crowd. Think Doming.
Metallic Nameplates
Metallic polyesters can make a beautiful nameplate. Metallic polyesters come in a wide range of colors such as silver, gold and copper. Each of these colors can be modified to have either a shiny, matte or brushed finish. The metallic polyesters can be embossed to give depth to the nameplate. For the ultimate nameplate you can combine a metallic polyester with embossing and then finish of the nameplate with the polyurethane doming. Having all these capabilities in house ensure that you get a quality nameplate on time and within your budget.
