MSI has the ability to produce roll labels using Digital, Screen and Hot Stamp printing. Each of these printing systems offers MSI's customers a wide range of products and price points. Hot Stamp Roll Labels
Hot Stamp printing offers an incredible value for the simple one and two color Roll Labels. These labels are typically used for information purposes such as wiring diagrams, schematics and UL/CSA labels. This process is excellent for printing on polyester and vinyl materials. These labels will typically be laminated with a .001 or .002 clear polyester over laminate to protect from scratches and chemicals. Hot Stamp printing is low cost and very durable.
Screen Printed Roll Labels
Few printing companies in the United States have the capabilities to do Screen Printing on rolls. Since 2000 MSI has had a 12 x 16 Klemm roll to roll screen printing press. The Klemm press is excellent for producing high volume printing on both top and bottom surfaces. This is one of the few roll label presses in the country capable of sub-surface printing polycarbonate nameplates and overlays to tolerances of +-.010. Because screen printed inks are UV resistant the Klemm produces warning and caution labels capable of lasting out doors for 5+ years.
Digital printed Roll Labels
Some companies still think that all labels should be one color in order to keep the cost low. At MSI our customers know that is not true anymore. Digital printing now allows our customers the ability to design in as many colors as they need with no added cost. This allows their designers to design labels that are more attractive and functional to the end user. No matter what the design is our HP Indigo Digital Printer can produce the labels in high definition printing.
